Membership in Alpha Lambda Zeta Fraternity, Inc. provides unique benefits and opportunities to womyn who are service-oriented, professional, and goal-oriented. While the benefits to each member may vary with personal experience, members typically value the following benefits.
* Fraternal Sisterhood - The unique life-time bond of Regal Womyn is strengthened through similar experiences and connections the fraternity shares as positive aggressive-identified womyn from all backgrounds, ages, and nationalities.
* Service - Members enjoy the benefits of service to the community and political activism by participating in various fraternity sponsored programs as well as working with LAN and VOICE partners.
* Leadership Development - Leadership training and programs provide and enhance skills that allow members to become leaders in their communities, within the fraternity and in their careers.
* Social Networking - Through social events (ie. sporting events, social gatherings, fraternity retreats, family days, etc.), members are provided the opportunity to create positive life experiences through networking with positive aggressive womyn and our allies.
* Professional Networking - With members located nationwide and in varying professions, members are provided the opportunity for professional networking to support career development.
*Mentoring - Regal Womyn of all ages enjoy the benefit of personal and professional mentorship through relationships within our nationwide fraternity network.
* Support - Life continually tests and strengthens us through adversity and other life events. The womyn are provided with a network of support in during these difficult times or when their human rights have been compromised (ie. discrimination, etc.)
Minimum Membership Requirements
Membership Requirements - These minimum requirements must be met in order to
be considered for membership. Possession of these requirements do not guarantee
membership into Alpha Lambda Zeta Fraternity, Inc.
1. 8 hours of community volunteerism and political activism is REQUIRED.
2. At least 18 years of age and mentally mature enough to handle responsibilities
beyond normal life.
3. Identify as a lesbian aggressive female.
4. Have a high school diploma, with drive and ambition to go further.
5. Registered and active voter.
6. Proof of Financial Responsibility.
7. Letter of Interest - specific questions will be addressed, be prepared.
8. Successful interview.
9. Prepared to travel for parts of the training process.
10. Posses or contain the ambition to posses leadership, service, determination,
and responsibility.
The first step in the application process is to complete a Quest Form, located
on our national website.
Following submission, a member of the fraternity will contact you for the next
step in the process.
Membership is offered to those who, through our Leadership Training Program,
demonstrate leadership, dedication, and commitment to the principles of Alpha
Lambda Zeta Fraternity, Inc.
