Alpha Lambda Zeta (ΑΛΖ), an LGBT Greek-Lettered Organization

 

is a national professional service fraternity for masculine-identifying lesbians who seek to promote positive images of the LGBT community through service to the community and political action.

 

Alpha Lambda Zeta Fraternity, Inc. was founded on January 9, 2006, in Houston, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia. Since this time, our Honorary Founders and dedicated members have brought to fruition the vision of a fraternal sisterhood that is bonded and grounded in service to the community and each other.

Through our mission and the dedication we have to each other, we positively impact our community while maintaining a fraternal bond that is fostered by understanding, acceptance, and support. We encourage any masculine-identified “womyn” seeking membership into a fraternity with standards, goals, professionalism, and activism to explore further into the Regal World of Alpha Life.

Alpha Lambda Zeta Fraternity, Inc. has worked along side D9 and Panhellenic Greeks and other nationally recognized organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign, American Civil Liberties Union and various community organizations to register people to vote, deliver goods to the homeless, deliver toys to youth, march for equal rights, repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, and help our troops survive in Iraq.
