Purpose: To provide 1 scholarship to a deserving adult (Age 25 & Up) seeking to continue their education who is low income or fixed income

Criteria for Application

To be eligible to apply for the ALZFI Continuing Education Scholarship, you must meet the below listed criteria:

Be a fixed or low income adult student
-
Earning a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
-
Must be currently enrolled in an education program (nursing school, trade school, undergraduate, graduate, etc.

How to Apply
Complete the online application and submit the below items.

Must provide proof of income. The following is accepted:

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program): Award letter or benefits statement.

EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card with recent transaction history.
-
TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families): Award letter or benefits verification.

Medicaid/Medicare: Approval letter or current Medicaid/Medicare card.

Housing Assistance (e.g., Section 8 or Public Housing): Rent statement showing subsidy. Housing voucher or certification letter.

WIC (Women, Infants, and Children): Program enrollment documentation or WIC checks.

Free/Reduced School Lunch Program: Eligibility letter from the school or district.

Unemployment Benefits: Unemployment benefits approval or payment records.

SSI (Supplemental Security Income): Benefit verification letter or payment records.
