rising scholar award​

Award: $250

Purpose: To provide a scholarship to a deserving college student who demonstrates academic achievement and a strong commitment to their educational and career goals. This scholarship seeks to support students who have shown perseverance, motivation, and dedication to their continued academic success.

Criteria:

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled in college

• Be currently enrolled in an accredited higher education institution

• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, as documented by an official or unofficial transcript

​How to Apply

Complete the online application and submit the below items.

1. Essay: What are your academic and career goals, and how has your college experience prepared you to achieve them? Include any obstacles you have overcome and how this scholarship would support your continued success. (Max 500 words)

2. Current official transcript

3. One Reference Form from Professor, Instructor, or Academic Advisor

4. Applications due by May 31
