Community CornerStone Scholarship Application

Award: $250

Applications due by May 31

Purpose: To provide 1 scholarship to a deserving high school senior who has been consistently dedicated to serving their community

​

Criteria for Application

To be eligible to apply for the ALZFI Community Cornerstone Scholarship, you must meet the below listed criteria:

​

  • Planning to pursue a profession in public service (public administration, social services, teaching, public health, public safety, political science, criminal justice, or family law)

  • Earning a minimum of a 3.0 GPA 

  • Must have a minimum of 50 hours of community service

 

How to Apply

Complete the online application below where you will be asked to submit the below items.

​

  1. Current copy of your high school transcript

  2. Essay: Community Service Impact: Describe your most meaningful community service experience. How did it affect the community and influence your personal growth? (Max 500 words)

  3. One reference form completed by a teacher, guidance counselor, or community organization leader 

  4. Submit evidence of 50 hours of community service

  5. Applications due by May 31
