For the Love of Coffee: A Month of Community, Compassion, and Collective Impact

For Alpha Lambda Zeta Fraternity Inc., service is at the heart of everything we do. This February 2026, that spirit is on full display through For the Love of Coffee, a month long initiative bringing LGBTQ Greek organizations together to support Nashville Mission Programs.
Through simple acts of giving, our community is helping provide much needed items to uplift individuals and families in need. Each donation represents compassion, unity, and love in action.

Who Nashville Rescue Mission Serves
Nashville Rescue Mission helps people in Nashville who are experiencing homelessness, hunger, addiction, and other life-crushing challenges — including men, women, and children. On any given day, hundreds of neighbors in need receive meals, shelter, care, and support from this organization. They serve those who are hurting right now as well as those working toward a better future.
What Services They Provide
Emergency Support and Basic Needs• Sheltered overnight and daytime spaces for people without a stable home• Nutritious meals for individuals and families• Clothing, hygiene items, hot showers, and dayrooms for rest and safety• Case management to help guests navigate next steps and support systems
Life Recovery and Transformation Programs• Structured long-term recovery programs for adults working to overcome addiction and build stability• Counseling, spiritual guidance, education, and life skills training tailored to individual needs• Transitional housing and support for reintegration into community life
